2011 was a great year for Sirqus Alfon. Sold out houses, great succes and rave reviews in Sweden with their new show SATV.
Their club-concept "Dance World Cup" made the people of Stockholm dance their asses off at Etablissemanget during the summer.
Sirqus Alfon will open 2012 with being the masters of ceremony at the ICE STORM during APAP in New York. In february SATV will be shown as one of the selected shows during the fourth edition of Subcase - the Subtopia Circus Fare in Sweden. They will be busy preparing a conference about using new technocology, hacked gaming consoles and experimental VJ soft wear on stage. Sirqus Alfon has also been headhunted to participate in a residency in Sweden to develop a site specific performance during spring 2012.
A new Swedish tour of SATV is set for spring 2013. The show is open for international touring from autumn 2012 and onwards.
It is with great pleassure Sirqus Alfon returns to Stockholm with tons of positive feedback from touring Sweden. And the two shows at our beloved Södra Teatern sold out and received standing ovations. Now we are excited to announce one extra exclusive SATV performance at Södra Teatern 12/12 19.00.
Another BIG news is the international premier of SATV at Aleksanterin Teatteri in Helsinki, Finland, 18/12!

"The whole thing should not be trivialized by describing in too many explanatory words. It must be seen. For it is true that much of the technology used is very cool and impressive, but at least equally impressive are the players in action on stage with and against the technology.

Sirqus Alfon manages to bring together the world of the computer game-nerd and the world of extreme acrobatics and dance numbers to hyper-energetic live music. They are unpretentiously flirting with the 90s rave culture and the enormous influence of the You Tube decade.
